secrecy is hard though when you're in a band with espen langli, who tends to tell everything to his gf. nonetheless, we've had strict words this time.

if you're wondering on what to gift him for this milestone birthday - his thirteenth - he likes wearing black clothes and is bad at talking to girls. he is also afraid of playing the saxophone for the dust it houses.

as for frenchgirls news, I'm sorry but you may have to wait until thom dent wants to write something on this god-given platform, specifically, probably after his worrying exams.

we didn't have a band practice tonight.

band tomorrow - what will happenn?!!?

we're having a band practice tomorrow, for the first time in a couple of weeks. only problem is - we have no plan for what to do.
in the words of ellie goulding, anything could happen.
will ben have any more success in his ongoing quest to find "the tone"??????
will jamie still be able to play his sweet sweet solos??????
will espen's knock his head and wake up thinking he actually is a bass??????
will luka's jazzy riffing finally cross the breach into the murky world of freeform??????
will thom forget which house espen lives in and end up going next door and playing his signature rhythmic beats to the devout christians that live next door??????
will kit write a song so sick nobody can play it but him??????
that's the scary thing, isn't it?
nobody really knows.

frenchgirls @ live @ leeds

frenchgirls, not playing @ live at leeds

so live at leeds was pretty mega, 4/6 frenchgirls went along and had a ruddy good time.
saw some great bands and some not so great bands, but the former outweighed the latter by a big margin.
thom and ben got to see menace beach for the 5th and 6th time respectively (thom jamie and luka also accidentally overheard their band practice today), plus we saw equally local babes eagulls and hookworms ripping leeds becket a new hole. thom's fave moment was definitely dutch uncles at the town hall though - serious dance party (even when the lights turned off).
